Quality Improvement Director

Location: North East United States

PROGRAM/DEPT.: Administration

SUPERVISOR: President

RESPONSIBILITIES/SUMMARY:

Supports the continual improvement of the quality of services that the agency offers to clients through collection and analysis of data regarding quality and quantity of services provided, and the effectiveness of those services in meeting client need.

FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:

* Participate as part of agency management team for the purposes of overall planning, operation, and administrative policy formulation consistent with agency philosophy, procedures, and accountability requirements.
* Conduct quarterly reviews of agency services
* Assist programs to develop and implement measures of the effectiveness of services provided.
* Oversee and maintain Client Information System.
* Distribute monthly statistical reports
* Distribute monthly performance reports
* Prepare ad hoc statistical reports as needed.
* Prepare, with assistance of accounting, annual unit costs report
* Collect and tabulate on a quarterly basis client satisfaction questionnaires
* Chair, Quality Improvement Committee
* Assist programs in developing annual plans.
* Make recommendations to management regarding ways to improve service quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in Social Work
Knowledge of program evaluation and research.
Excellent written communication skills.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work with other managers and staff

EQUIPMENT/TOOLS UTILIZED:

Personal computer
Proficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Database applications.
